Recreating History
The Pottery Museum curates and outsource masterpieces that echoes our imaginary past where essential day to day tools are made from mud or carved from wood. The museum serves as a nostalgic time capsule that showcases different types of pottery, ceramic and wood craftings known to be locally used by Hausa societies. As our most valuable heritage and cultural artefacts has been lost in the last and current century due to colonization, the museum honors our artistic and cultural legacies through these pieces.
